Wilderness Park Trail Maintenance Work Day at Lincoln, NE

Rosina just called to tell me that Wilderness Park is having a trail maintenance work day this Sunday, May 24, 2009, starting at 9:00a.m. at the trail head by Old Cheney Road in Wilderness Park. Her computer was down, so she wanted me to post.
Friends of Wilderness Park is a a local organization dedicated to preserving Wilderness Park.
Is there any group who will be at the Lincoln Earth Day 2009, Sunday afternoon, April 19, 2009, 1-5 p.m. who will be having a booth and also having a letter writing session to oppose L.B. 134? This would be a great opportunity to gather a lot of let…

La Vida Locavore, an interesting site for greens and gardeners
I was forwarded an e-mail from Slow Food Nebraska about Mid America CropLife Association's disagreement with Michelle Obama's decision to make the White House garden organic. I followed up on some links and found this interesting site called La Vida Locavore. This is where I found a copy of the original letter sent to Michelle.
