Lincoln Green Scene

Lincoln, NE: sharing what "green" we have to attract what we lack.

Please help spread the word the Nebraska Solar Tour is happening this Saturday, 10 -2. You have several sites on the tour in Lincoln and you can see more of what has been organized at www.nebraskasolartour.org We only have a couple of members, and if you would like to help organize, and more importantly, get the word out about the tour in your area please get involved next year, as this will be an annual showcase of solar designs in home and commercial sites, including the various panels types and wind energy, etc.

This tour is being put together by the Nebraska Solar Energy Society (we have a listing on your site) www.nebraskases.org in conjunction with the national solar tour the American Solar Energy Society is hosting in all 50 states this year, www.ases.org You have the Net Zero Energy home, and several hydronic hot water solar installations and a large pv array on your tour in Lincoln this year. Lincoln has some of the nicest passive solar homes in the state, and if we have help, you could have a wonderful architectural tour next year!

Thank you for your support and providing a space to let others know what great things are happening, or need to happen, in the local area.

Rita Corell, President, NSES
